About the practice
A different kind of legal firm.
We are a small consultancy, so the person who reads your documents is the person you speak to. We
explain the position in plain English, set out the realistic options and tell you what each one is
likely to involve — including the fee — before you commit to anything.
You will not be passed between departments or given a letter you need a second adviser to
translate.

When to come to us
Before you sign, reply or agree.
The best moment to ask is before something becomes binding: before you sign an agreement, before
you answer a letter, or before you accept terms you have not read closely. Advice at that point is
usually the cheapest part of the matter.
If you are already further along, that is fine too — tell us where things stand and we will
tell you what is still open to you.
Where we work
Working with clients across Europe.
We advise individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses across Europe, in English, on a consultation
basis. Enquiries are handled by telephone, email and video, and documents are exchanged and returned
electronically, so where you are based does not have to limit the help you can get.
Where a matter is genuinely outside what we do, we will say so rather than take it on.

What you send stays with us
Documents and details you share are used to advise you on your matter and nothing else. We do not pass them to anyone else without your instruction.
How we hold information
Enquiries and correspondence are kept in our systems for as long as we need them to deal with your matter and to meet our own record-keeping obligations.
What we will not claim
We do not promise outcomes. Legal matters depend on facts and on other parties, and any honest adviser will tell you the same.

- How are fees worked out?
- We look at the matter first, then confirm the fee for the work involved before you commit. Fees are quoted in euros, per matter, according to the work the matter needs.
- How are documents delivered?
- Documents are prepared and returned to you electronically, in the format your matter requires, with a short explanation of what has been done and what you need to do next.
- How is confidentiality handled?
- Everything you send is treated as confidential and used only to advise you. We do not share it with anyone else without your instruction.
- How does a dispute consultation work?
- We look at the position on both sides, tell you honestly what your options are and set out what a resolution might involve, including the likely cost of pursuing it.
- What does intellectual property guidance cover?
- Practical guidance on names, marks, written work and other material you create, what protection is available and what to do if someone else uses it.
- How do I book a consultation?
- Send the consultation form or call us. We will come back with what we need from you and a time to talk it through.
